We find Julie Stanford back on Block Island, this time, however, not for a book signing, but to answer questions regarding Penelope Wordsworth’s murder investigation. It’s been just about three months since her book signing tour when she ran into Harry Wordsworth, her former lover from over twenty years ago.
Harry has had his share of problems over the last few months, as his wife’s death was not an accidental one, as they later discovered. The night of her death, she had stolen a boat late at night and supposedly fell overboard and suffered head injuries. The cause of death on the police report was accidental drowning. However, one of the neighbors went to the police and said he saw a man in the boat with her and it looked like foul play. Harry is arrested, as the one prime suspect.
This story is about the closeness of a baby/toddler grandson to his grandma, and what he does to get her attention. It takes you on a journey of learning what he likes to do. During this journey he is learning different concepts without knowing it, because he is still very young. He likes doing many things and this book enlightens you on Mali’s daily activities while visiting grandma.
Small children will encounter educational concepts while listening to the story.
It is a story about a young African girl who came to America to pursue a higher education. She ended getting a Bachelor’s and master’s degree and heading a research laboratory in Maryland.
This story of Agnes coming from a “Land of Empty” to a “Land of Plenty” can only happen in America GOD BLESS AMERICA.
